George Robert Armistead, 62, as an employee of DuPont. He was from Kinston and was killed in Ayden. He was survived by two sons, a brother, a sister and grandchild. Faye Creegan, 40, Eastern Pines, was a teacher at what was then Aycock Junior High School and an award-winning horsewoman. Michael House, 15, Eastern Pines, was a D.H. Conley High School student and was survived by his parents and brother. Albert Paramore, 61, Eastern Pines, worked for Leon Moore Oil Co., was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and volunteer fireman. He was survived by his wife, a daughter, two sons and siblings. Pamela A. Hendrix Price, 32, Eastern Pines, worked at a local hotel and restaurant. She was survived by a husband, daughter, stepson, her parents and siblings Nellie Riggs, 82, Eastern Pines, was a member of Winterville Baptist Church and was survived by three sons, a daughter, 13 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12-great-grandchildren and siblings. Donna Lee Suggs, 28, Winterville, worked for Vermont American Co. She was survived by her mother and father, a brother and half-brother and grandmother. Carol Tripp Taylor, 42, Eastern Pines, worked at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. She was survived by a daughter, her parents, siblings and grandfather. Jerry T. Worthington, 62, Ayden, was survived by his wife, three sons, a daughter and a sister.
